Chair back lunge left resistance band
How to do it
- Stand tall facing the back of a chair with your feet hip-width apart and your hands resting on top of the chair's back.
- Place a resistance band around your ankles.
- Step backward with your left foot and lower your body towards the ground by bending both knees until your back knee is a few inches from the floor, and pause for 2-3 seconds.
- Push through your right heel and bring your left foot forward to the starting position. Repeat with the same leg.
Tips
- While performing the lunge, your front thigh should be parallel to the ground.
- Do not let your back knee touch the ground.
- Use the chair for balance only, not to pull yourself up.
- Keep your chest up and back straight.
