Alternating plank lunge

How to do it

  1. Get down on the floor on all fours with your body weight on your hands, forearms and toes, assuming a plank position.
  2. Lift your right foot off the ground and bring your knee towards the right elbow from the side until the thigh is bent to 90 degrees.
  3. Slowly return to the starting position and perform the same movement with the other leg.

Tips

  • Keep your forearms and hands pressed on the ground throughout this exercise.
  • Avoid bringing your knee toward the chest from the front. Always move it from the side.
